Next assignment is to draw a caricature and can barely believe that it's actually in the syllabus because I'm really not good at drawing real or semi-real faces. Look how I got through it. I did do it twice for better results.
I actually did it straight from sketches, meaning that I didn't have a sketch layer. I straight out drew the lineart from the sketch itself. I'm not sure if that's a good or bad habit. Clever me forgot to screenshot the sketching progress.
After that, before putting colours, I adjusted the size of everything but head to emphasize the concept caricature. I did it many times to reach the one I'm satisfied with and fits with my goal because I'm not used to drawing a body with not the usual proportions.
I know this maybe is too fast-forward but the process doesn't have anything interesting worth mentioning so I'll just move on to the final result of this particular assignment. I am quite satisfied with the lighting contours of the face even though it's nothing to be compared to my other friends'.
